Delta Epsilon Mu was founded on the grounds of Binghamton University of New York in spring of 1996. The organization was established with the goals of uniting students interested in entering various pre-health professions. The founding fathers united their interests in building a co-ed pre-health fraternity to serve students by exposing them to professionals from various health fields.
The Alpha Phi chapter at Case Western Reserve University was officially established under the guidance of both the national authority and the Phi Chapter by the 14 founding members.
